Nigerian Army’s 3 Div Hosts Inter-brigade Combat Proficiency Competition
The 3 Division Garrison of the Nigerian Army Jos has concluded arrangement to host  the 2022 Inter Brigade Combat Proficiency Competition.
Four Nigerian Army formations under Headquarters 3 Division will compete during the exercise.
A release from the spokesman of the division, Major Ishaku Takwa, stated that those to compete include: “3 Division Garrison Jos,  6 Brigade Jalingo, 23 Brigade Yola and 33 Brigade Bauchi.”
“The event which is scheduled to start on Monday 5 September, will last till Thursday 8 September 2022.
“It will involve shooting competition at 3 Division Small Arms Range Miango, Bassa, movement of troops around Bassa general area as well as physical training exercises and obstacles crossing.
“The General public is hereby urged not to panic on sighting large movements of troops in the area and stay away from the 3 Division Range Miyango throughout the exercise.
“The 3 Division Nigerian Army also assures the public that necessary measures have been taken to assure the safety of the people living in the area. “
