Nigerian Military School Holds Graduation Ceremony

The Nigerian Military School (NMS), in Zaria, Kaduna State, has held its 2019 session ‘Speech and Prize Giving Day’ for its 2018/2019 set of graduating students.
Col. Sagir Musa, Acting Director Army Public Relations, in a statement,  said eminent guests who graced the event at the school premises include former Head of State, General Abdulsalam Abubakar, who was the ‘Special Guest of Honour’, Mr Babatunde Fowler, the Executive Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), who was the Chairman of the occasion.
While unveiling the Junior Leader Magazine, – the magazine of the school, Mr Fowler requested for 500 copies for an undisclosed amount and also promised to project the magazine to several corporate organizations urging them to support and carry out projects for upgrade of educational initiatives and programmes of the Nigerian Army.
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt Gen Tukur Yusufu Buratai, the Chief Host, was represented by the Chief of Standards and Evaluation ‘Army’ , Maj-Gen A O Shodunke.
Other Senior Officers and Dignitaries in attendance were Prof Faruk Haruna Rasheed, Provost Federal College of Education Kontagora, the Comdt Depot, Nigerian Army Maj-Gen S Mohammed, Acting Corps Commander Education, Brig-Gen H B Mohammed, and the Representative of the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji  Umaru Mohammed, amongst others.
