In a commendable display of valour and efficiency, troops of Sector 1, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, successfully rescued 17 kidnap victims in Kaduna State on April 9, 2025. Among the rescued were Samuel Ezekiel, Williams Ezekiel, Duza Ezekiel, Ishaku Ezekiel, Sunday Ezekiel, Alice Ezekiel, Victoria Ezekiel, Favor Ezekiel, Rebecca Obadiah, and Blessing Obadiah.

Others are, Alheri Obadiah, Gift Obadiah, Jummai Obadiah, Gloria Obadiah, Charity Obadiah, Friday Jessy, and Theresa Friday. The victims were medically examined/treated, profiled/debriefed and promptly handed over to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Kaduna State Command same day to assist in ensuring their safe and swift reunion with their families.

This remarkable rescue operation clearly shows the troops’ commitment and professionalism whose determination in the face of adversity continues to make significant strides in the ongoing fight against insecurity in their areas of operations. Despite the challenges, the gallant troops’ morale and operational efficiency remain exemplary, which bears eloquent testimony to their dedication to safeguarding lives and restoring peace within the northwest geo-political region.
