NURTW Appoints Oyewale as Caretaker Chairman for FCT Council

NURTW Appoints Oyewale as Caretaker Chairman for FCT Council

National headquarters of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has announced the appointment of Alhaji Kazeem Oyewale as the Caretaker Chairman for the Federal Capital Territory council.

Oyewale, who is the Gbobaniyi of Osogbo land, was formerly the Osun State Chairman of the union.

According to a statement released by the national headquarters of the union, the appointment of Chief Oyewale was announced by the NURTW President, Alhaji Musiliu Oluomo.

Oluomo charged Oyewale to prioritize the welfare of his members and always defend their interest.

He noted that the NURTW is a respected union, devoid of hooliganism, and therefore, its reputation must be protected.

In his acceptance speech, Oyewale, popularly known as Asiri Eniba thanked the leadership of the NURTW for the confidence reposed in him.

He promised not to let the union down, even as he promised to bring to bear the experience he used in piloting the affairs of the union in Osun State.
