OBITUARY | Patience Eno, Akwa-Ibom First Lady, Dies at 57

*Pastor (Mrs.) Patience Umo Eno

Akwa-Ibom State First Lady and wife of the governor of the state, Pastor (Mrs.) Patience Umo Eno, is dead. She was 57 years old.
Mrs Eno passed away peacefully at the hospital on Thursday, in the presence of her family, after a brief illness.
A statement by the  statement by the state government and signed by its information commissioner, Comrade Ini Ememobong, confirmed the development.
“The family submits to the will of the Almighty and asks for the prayers and support of kind-hearted individuals during this difficult time”, he said, noting, “Further details will be provided by the family as necessary.”
“His Excellency, the Governor, Pastor Umo Eno appreciates all who have stood by the first family in this period and assures all the citizens that despite this huge personal loss, his commitment to the service of the state is unwavering”, the statement added.
