A call has been made to the people of Edo state to ignore a video by one Mr. George Uboh in which he claims to be blowing the whistle on the finances of Edo state under Governor Godwin Obaseki.
This call was made in a statement issued in Abuja by the former DG of the PDP Governors Forum, Earl Osaro Onaiwu who said this was another failed attempt to distract the people of the state from their determination to continue with the good government of Godwin Obaseki.
Mr. Onaiwu described as pathetic that the trio of Adams Oshiomhole, Osagie Ize Iyamu and Capt. Hosa Okunbo have sunk to the levels of hiring a serial blackmailer to tarnish Governor Godwin Obaseki as it becomes increasingly obvious to them that they will be defeated in the forthcoming elections.
He further warned Mr. Uboh to stay away from Edo state as his treacherous ways will not be tolerated in the state, noting that he expected Uboh to still be recovering from his prolonged detention after attempting to blackmail and extort the Governor of the Central Bank, who incidentally is from the same village as him in Delta state.
The PDP stalwart added that the APC candidate and his sponsors should be planning life after their defeat on Saturday instead of associating and hiring a discredited jail bird and EFCC customer to smear the governor which speaks volumes of both their desperation and proof that they never had any meaningful plan for Edo state.
