The lawmaker representing Edo North Senatorial District, Adams Oshiomhole, has accused the African Democratic Congress, ADC, vice presidential candidate, Rotimi Amaechi, of contradicting his past political positions.
Oshiomhole made this accusation on Wednesday during an interview on TVC.
He said Amaechi had lost political relevance and now said different things from what he used to stand for.
The former Edo State governor stated that Amaechi who once praised the All Progressives Congress, APC, and President Bola Tinubu, has now turned around to criticize the same party and government he served.
He described Amaechi as a confused politician who changes position depending on where he stands to benefit.
“Amaechi is contradicting his past positions. He has lost direction politically,” Oshiomhole said.
He further stated that Amaechi’s recent comments about the state of the nation are hypocritical and not in the interest of Nigerians.
The former APC National Chairman urged Nigerians to disregard Amaechi’s criticism.
Oshiomhole added that Amaechi’s record in office as minister and governor does not give him the moral ground to attack the current administration.
