Turkish football commentator, Ertem Şener has slammed Napoli President, Aurelio De Laurentiis for reportedly doing everything possible to thwart Galatasaray’s deal to sign Victor Osimhen on a permanent transfer this summer.
Şener described De Laurentiis as an obsessive person, adding that the 76-year-old Italian has ruined the lives of several footballers.
He stated this while recently evaluating the Osimhen transfer agenda this summer.
Galatasaray are ready to sign Osimhen on a permanent deal after the Nigerian spent the whole of last season on loan at the Turkish champions.
But Napoli are yet to respond to the latest offer of 75 million euros for Osimhen from Galatasaray.
“The Victor Osimhen transfer has not gone through. Galatasaray is pushing, but Napoli’s unstable president, De Laurentiis, is doing everything he can to thwart the deal,” Şener was quoted by habersarikirmizi as saying.
“I think it will happen, but the Napoli side is acting foolishly. Laurentiis has ruined the footballing lives of many stars. He’s a completely obsessive person.
“I hope Galatasaray will face Napoli in the Champions League. I think Galatasaray will be very ambitious in that match.”
