Osun 2026: Oyebamiji’s Wife Predicts Victory for Husband

The wife of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, Dr Sekinah Oyebamiji, has expressed confidence that her husband will emerge victorious in the ongoing governorship election.

She spoke shortly after casting her ballot at Ward 9, Unit 003, AUD Primary School, Ikire, in Irewole Local Government Area, on Saturday.

Sekinah commended the conduct of the election, describing the voter turnout as impressive.

She also expressed optimism that her husband would secure victory when the results of the election are announced.

Oyebamiji said the electoral process had so far been peaceful and orderly, while commending officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission for their professional conduct during the voting exercise.

“The voters’ turnout is quite impressive. The INEC officials are conducting themselves professionally. There are police officers around,” she said, adding that the presence of police officers had helped maintain order during voting.

“I think the process is good so far. The expectation is that Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji will carry the day,” she said, expressing confidence in the candidate’s prospects at the polls.
