Phone-tapping: ICPC Releases Details of Items Recovered from El-Rufai’s House

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, has disclosed a range of documents, electronic devices, and other items allegedly recovered from the Abuja residence of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

The agency disclosed this in its filings submitted at the FCT High Court in Abuja to counter a N1 billion fundamental rights enforcement suit filed against ICPC and others by Mr El-Rufai.

According to the anti-graft agency, it recovered nine flash drives, one memory card, and seven hard drives.

Also, the Commission retrieved a Remarkable tablet along with its chargers.

The commission further disclosed that folders containing flight tickets were found stored across various digital devices.
The ICPC stated that all recovered items were properly documented, sealed, and prepared for forensic analysis as part of an ongoing investigation.

“Multiple laptops among the items taken, including Apple MacBook Pro and Elumac Book Pro models. Mobile phones were also part of the recovery.

“Other devices include Blackberry, Nokia N95, Toshiba, Samsung IDEOS, Google IDEOS, and 18 other mobile devices,” it said.
