The Nigeria Police Force on Monday reinstated its resolve towards seeking justice in the late singer and rapper, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as MohBad’s alleged murder case.
According to the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Muyiwa Adejobi, the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, was aware of the case and had called on Nigerians to volunteer “useful information” to the police investigators.
Adejobi in a series of tweets via his X profile claimed that the anybody found guilty in connection to the case would not be left unpunished.

He said. “Anyone who is indicted in this case won’t go unpunished. Whatever it is, there must be investigation concluded and report forwarded for necessary action. If it’s on this mohbad matter, the matter is received due attention; except there are hidden agendas that certain individuals want to use to cause unrest or incite the public against the government in Nigeria.
“The police and the government are aware of the case. The IGP has personally been briefed, and he has issued directives on the matter. I think the best we can do now is to work with the team and share useful information with them. Whoever is invited should cooperate with the police on this matter.”
Following MohBad’s death, there have been allegations of assaults on Mohbad by Naira Marley and his crew.
On October 6, 2022, Mohbad made a series of posts which read, “The events of the last two days have left indelible scars in my heart. I have always just wanted to create good music and to provide for my family and myself through my music. As an Artiste from the street, I thought the Marlian Family would be a good place for me.”
