Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has asked President Bola Tinubu to seek the arrest of Islamic cleric Ahmed Gumi for his comments against Christians and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

Gumi had branded Wike as a diabolical figure, adding that Christians should not be trusted with the country’s security.

The Islamic scholar then demanded that Wike be removed as FCT minister immediately and that the position be filled with a Muslim.

In a statement by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele warned Gumi to stop talking about Christians and leave Wike to do his job because whatever the minister does will not only affect Muslims alone but everyone in the country.

He said, “Leave Wike alone and let him do his job, stop molesting Christians. If the minister doesn’t do the right thing, it’s not about Christianity.

‘’Tinubu should be careful of people like Gumi, he should be arrested and prosecuted.”
