Re-election of Governor Wike Excites Ijaw Youths 

*Ijaw Youths Celebrate the re-election of Rivers State Governor,  Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, on Friday  in front of the Government House,  Port Harcourt.

Bayelsa Ijaw Youths resident in Rivers State have congratulated Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on his re-election.
The youths who processed to Government House,  Port Harcourt on Friday said they overwhelmingly voted for Governor Wike because of his outstanding projects delivery.
They also stated that Governor Wike endeared himself to Ijaw youths because of his support for Former President Goodluck during his trying days.
Leader of the Bayelsa Youths, Rivers State Chapter, Larry Ambaka said Ijaw youths gave the governor massive support  because they know that he will reward the State with more projects.
He said: “We the Ijaw  youths are here to congratulate Governor Wike. We want him to help more Ijaw youths during  his second term.
“Rivers youths gave him massive support.  So he should reward the masses with more projects”.
Public Relations Officer of Bayelsa Youths,  Rivers State Chapter,  Robinson Agoke said that Ijaw  youths voted for Governor Wike because of his capacity to further develop Rivers State which is the capital of the Niger Delta region.
He said: “We expect Governor Wike to further develop Rivers State because  this is the capital of the Niger Delta region.  Once Rivers State enjoys stable development,  it will trickle down to other states of the region.
“Now that he has been re-elected,  Governor Wike should focus on development.  He should forgive and forget whoever fought his re-election”.
While calling on Governor Wike  to operate an inclusive government,  he urged the Rivers State Governor to take steps to compensate families of those who lost their lives defending Rivers mandate.
Also speaking,  Public Relations Officer of Ijaw Youths Development Initiative,  Tari Jarius, said they supported  Governor Wike because he has shown love and friendship  to the Ijaw Nation.
