Rivers FRSC Charges Clerics on ‘Continued Road Safety Education’

Continued Road Safety’ Enlightenmen
Salisu Galadunci, Sector Commander, Rivers Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has charged religious organisations on continued road safety enlightenment.
Galadunci gave the charge on Sunday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port Harcourt during a thanksgiving service to wrap up the Ember Month Safety Campaigns flag off.
The Sector Commander during the service delivered a lecture titled ” Top 4 Safety Driving Tips”.
The lecture was based on a fourteen power point slides supported with biblical quotations that added value to safety tips for road users.
 Earlier duing the first Mass, the Sector Provost Officer, CRC Monday Otubu also delivered a lecture on ” Defensive Driving Skills”.
 The two lecture sessions which were attended by over a thousand congregants were simultaneously initiated with a view of reawakening the consciousness of road users on safety especially as the festive season approaches.
 At the end the two sessions, the Parish Priest, Rev. Father Samuel appreciated the Command for visiting his Church at such a time of the year when activites on the roads have increased.
The Priest therefore, urged the Church to take the lessons learnt from the lectures seriously by obeying all traffic rules and regulations.
