Rivers Speaker, 15 Other Lawmakers Dump PDP for APC

Martin Amaewhule, Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Amaewhule and 15 other House members defected on Friday.

Amaewhule stated that the defection is due to a clear division within the PDP.
