Marching words with action, Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has pulled down Prophet Odumeje’s Church in Onitsha as he begins massive demolition of illegal structures in the city.
An online newspaper, ANAMBRA PEOPLE, in a report, said the incident happened Thursday morning.
Other churches, industries, residential buildings, etc, erected along or on flood channels like Sakamori, Nwangene Stream, Otumoye and other areas would be pulled down soon, government sources said.
Some of the structures at Zik Avenue, Fegge, Ochanja Market, Biafran Market and the Main Market, Onitsha, have been penciled down for demolition.
