Activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju warned on Thursday that some senators may not see the 2025 budget until it is approved into law.
Adeyanju made the remark against the backdrop of five senators who allegedly informed him that they never saw the last budget before it was passed into law.
Posting on X, Adeyanju wrote: “5 senators told me they never saw the last budget after several demands; it was later passed into law with the speed of light.
“I’m sure, senators won’t also see this budget, neither will they scrutinize it and it will be passed. This is how low we have descended as a nation.”
