Nigerién aircraft have, in the process of trailing insurgents, bombed Buhari village, a Nigerian community in Yobe State, killing 10 people in the process.
It was not clear if the 10 killed included the daring insurgents or they had mistakenly struck innocent civilians.
However military sources said that about 20 others were badly wounded after the 10 suspected villagers lost their lives in the strike on
The misdirected airstrike by the Nigerién drones on the Buhari village was actually meant for some identified Boko Haram insurgents that entered the village.
Another source at Yunisari told metrowatchonline.com that the wounded were being attended to at the General Hospital Geidam where they are recuperating pending needed referrals.
The entire Yunisari council area is in a state of mourning as no government official was yet to visit the place as at this morning.
