Toriola broke Abraham’s record with her latest film, ‘Queen Lateefah’, which has become one of the highest-grossing Nigerian films of all time.

Since its premiere in September, the film has grossed N350 million in just two months, outperforming Abraham’s ‘Malaika’, which earned N302 million.

Queen Lateefah’s latest feat has propelled her into the top seven highest-grossing Nollywood films.

The film is currently poised to break the records set by actress Funke Akindele in ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ and ‘Battle On Buka Street’ films.

Reacting to the development in an Instagram post, she wrote; “No 7, Queen Lateefah is still waxing strong and shining bright! Grossing 350M and 7th Highest Grossing Nollywood Title of All Time. Big thank you to everyone.”
