Super Falcons’ Ngozi Okobi Welcomes New Baby

Super Falcons midfielder, Ngozi Okobi has announced the arrival of her baby.

Okobi, 30, disclosed the birth of her child on her X account (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.

She wrote: “Congratulations to me.#godbepraised #iamamother #newmom. I am in my new season #NSPPD.”

The Levante Las Planas player tied the knot with her husband Okeoghene seven years ago until her recent childbirth.

Ngozi Okobi has represented Nigeria across the various national tournaments including 2010 U-17 Women’s World Cup, the 2010 WAFCON, the 2012 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Okobi also played in the 2014, 2016 2018, and 2022 WAFCON tournaments, as well as the 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
