President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, amid rising concerns over recent violent attacks in the state that have claimed several lives.

The President touched down at the Makurdi Airport, located at the Tactical Air Command of the Nigerian Air Force Base, at approximately 12:58 pm on Tuesday.

He is scheduled to meet with key stakeholders in the state, following the massacre in Yelwata, Guma Local Government Area, which sparked outrage across the country.
