Trump Appoints Nigerian Bizman, Ogunlesi, into His Economic Advisory Team

United State’s President-elect Donald Trump has appointed a U.S.-based Nigerian businessman, Adebayo Ogunlesi, into his Economic Advisory Team. Trump takes office on Jan. 20, 2017 from incumbent Barack Obama whose two Terms of eight years ends on the same day.

Ogunlesi, is currently chairman and managing partner, Global Infrastructure Partners.

Analysts say the Nigerian is to sit among “some of the best and brightest brains in the world to be on Trump’s Economic Advisory team to “Make America Great again”.

The U.S. President-elect also appointed multibillionaires and the CEO’s of fortune 500 companies such as Boeing, Walmart, JP Morgan Chase amongst others.

Ogunlesi, the Ondo state born Nigerian businessman is an Oxford and Harvard graduate who is the CEO and Founder of multibillion dollar company Global Infrastructure Partners made the list.

He is also the only black man in the Advisory Committee whose father was the first Professor of Medicine in Nigeria. According to Bloomberg he is worth an estimated $900 million dollars.
