The yet-to-be confirmed chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Joash Amupitan, has pledged to ensure that logistics during elections are reviewed.

Amupitan spoke on Thursday while answering questions during his screening at the Senate.

He lamented that some vehicles transporting sensitive materials during elections are in bad shape.

Amupitan recalled that in 2023, when his wife served as a collation officer, they resorted to the use of a generator due to power failure.

“My wife was a coalition officer; we had to provide a generator because there was no light,” he said.
