President Bola Tinubu has approved the reappointment of the Director-General of the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS), Dr Vincent Isegbe.

Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.

He said that the new Director-General would serve in the same capacity for another five-year term in office.

Ngelale said that the President expected Isegbe to build on the service’s recent performance, after it ranked in the top three agencies of the Federal Government.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the agency was ranked on the efficiency and transparency index by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council.
