Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has returned to Abuja from Rivers State.

Wike had embarked on a thank you tour of local government areas in Rivers State, which latest for 17 days.

During his tour, the minister strengthened his political structures in the state while firing several salvos at his oppositions.

Wike, who was a two-time governor of the state is galvanizing support for President Bola Tinubu’s second term reelection in 2027.

Declaring that Rivers State practice rainbow coalition, Wike declared that the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party will work together for Tinubu’s reelection in the state.

The Minister also renewed his political rivalry with Governor Sim Fubara, warning that his sudden support for Tinubu’s reelection won’t secure him APC’s governorship ticket in 2027.

However, after his visit to Port Harcourt yesterday, the Minister departed Rivers for Abuja.

In a post on his Facebook page, his media aide, Lere Olayinka, wrote: “FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, returns to Abuja today, after spending 17 days in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, visiting LGAs in the State.”
