Zahra Buhari, daughter of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, was seen crying and shouting on a street in London after the news of her father’s death broke.
A heartbreaking video shared on Monday by Imran Muhammad on X shows Zahra visibly distressed and unable to hold back tears.
She was joined by other family members, including the former First Lady, Aisha Buhari, at the London hospital where the late president passed away.
Former President Muhammadu Buhari died on Sunday, July 13, after a brief illness. He was 82 years old.
Following the news of his death, Vice President Kashim Shettima and Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, flew to London to receive his body.
Earlier, presidential aide Bashir Ahmad announced on X that the remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari will be laid to rest in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State.
He added that the date and time of the burial will be communicated in due course.
