2027: APC Will Dislodge PDP in Oyo, Says Adelabu

Adebayo, who is one of the gubernatorial aspirants on the platform of APC, made this declaration in a statement made available on Saturday.

The immediate past Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will dislodge the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State.

Adebayo, who is one of the gubernatorial aspirants on the platform of APC, made this declaration in a statement made available on Saturday.

The former minister announced that his decision to run on the platform of APC in the next gubernatorial election in the state was borne out of his desire to build a better Oyo State.

Adelabu explained that he has concluded plans to declare his ambition formally on Tuesday in Ibadan, the state capital.

He said the declaration would mark the beginning of a renewed political journey.

He added that his return to the gubernatorial election is aimed at returning the state to what he described as progressive leadership under the APC.

He said “APC would reclaim power in the state in 2027 through unity, commitment and the support of party faithful and residents”.
