APC: THE ROAD TO VICTORY, THE END OF CAMPAIGNS.
In line with the provisions of the Electoral Act and other enabling guidelines of the Independent National Electoral Commission, we are by this release, drawing the curtains of our campaigns.
It has been an interesting experience across the 192 Wards and 18 Local Governments of the state.
We’ve shared experiences, learnt new ideas, engaged with critical stakeholders and robustly sold our manifesto to the great people of Edo state.
We look forward to Saturday, 21st September, 2024 with great optimism.
By this release, we disclaim any further campaigns by way of jingles, press releases, documentaries, leaflets, pamphlets, opinion articles, interviews, both print and electronic, and we make bold to say, in the last three rigorous months, we have done well.
We wish to thank our teeming supporters and members, canvassers, mobilisers, and sensitizers who have impacted so tremendously on our visibility across the polling units, Wards and Local Governments, believing in the aspiration of.our candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo.
Senator Okpebholo as a lawmaker, understands the need to respect established protocols and laws of the land. It is in line with this that he has directed that as from 11.59pm, we disclaim any further campaigns concerning the APC.
We are aware that some of our opponents who are desperate to supplant their surrogate may deliberately, out of mischief, publish anything with pseudonym that may reflect our insignia, logos and membership.
To such ill-intention motive, we dissociate ourselves. As APC, our campaigns have ended and we look forward to our resounding victory on Saturday.
We wish to thank our leaders who have been so wonderful in the campaigns. Our thanks and appreciation to the Leader of the Party in the state, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, for his resourcefulness throughout the campaign.
We wish to also appreciate the Director-General of the campaign, Senator Matthew Orhoghide, whose sense of organisation has been most rewarding.
All members of the campaign Directorates are hereby well acknowledged for their resourcefulness and sacrifices in the course of the campaign.
We place on record, our appreciation to all the LGA campaign structure, all the Units campaign structure and all the Senatorial Districts campaigns Directorate.
We thank Pastor Ize-Iyamu, for his leadership, and so many other persons whose space won’t permit us to mention.
It has been a well organised campaign and our people have assured us that we are good to go into the arena of victory on Saturday.
To every other person who we are unable to mention because of space, we record our thanks and appreciation in footnote.
May the Almighty God, who sees the hearts of humans, grant us victory to lead Edo State to greater heights.
