Ondo Governor Sacks 2 Media Aides

The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has sacked his Senior Special Assistant on Research & Documentation, Ewatomilola Emiola, and Special Assistant on Digital Media, Kikelomo Isijola.

Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, February 4.

No reason was adduced for the sacking of the two media aides.

However, Adeniyan said the move was part of efforts to reorganise the Government House media team.

He said the aides, whose sack takes immediate effect, have been directed to hand over government properties in their care to the office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor.

“The governor thanks the two members of his media team for their services and wishes them well in their future endeavours,” the statement reads in part.
