Former Big Brother Naija contestant Queen Mercy Atang has explained why she unfollowed her husband on Instagram.
According to reports, the single mother of one married her husband, David Oyekanmi, in March 2024.
A few months after their marriage, she deleted their wedding photos and unfollowed him on Instagram, sparking speculations of a marital breakdown.
However, in a viral video posted on her page, Qu stated that the development was intended to save her marriage.
“I was trying to take my marriage off social media because my husband’s handle is out there, with a lot of ladies sliding in his DM to say both positive and negative things.
“I just want to protect my marriage and reduce some of the things I put out there”, she stated.
