President Bola Tinubu has expressed sadness over the derailment of an Abuja-Kaduna train.

Tinubu assured that the needed steps are being taken to prevent further recurrence.

Nigeria Railway Corporation, NRC, had confirmed that the Abuja-Kaduna train derailed between Kubwa station and Asham station at about 11.09 on Tuesday.
