Alleged Money Laundering: Aisha Achimugu Makes Court Appearance

Businesswoman Aisha Achimugu was presented before the Federal High Court in Abuja by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in the alleged money laundering case.

Metrowatch reported that Achimugu was apprehended and detained by EFCC operatives after she was ordered by Justice Inyang Ekwo to honour the invitation by the anti-graft agency.

The EFCC was also instructed to return with her to court on Wednesday for a report.

According to reports, Achimugu arrived at the court premises at about 11:35 am on Wednesday, escorted by two female EFCC officers.
