Ruben Amorim is set to become the new manager of AC Milan ahead of next season.
The former Manchester United boss has been locked in negotiations with the Serie A side.
Amorim is now the top contender for the role ahead of other coaches who were under consideration.
He will replace Maximiliano Allegri at the San Siro.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan has put a provisional two-year contract on the table, which includes an option for a third season.
Amorim has been out of a job since he was sacked by the Red Devils in January and is looking to rebuild his reputation.
