The African Democratic Congress, ADC, says the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC-led Federal Government is not going in the right direction.

The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Bolaji Abdullahi, said this on Tuesday when he featured in an interview on ‘Politics Today’, a programme on Channels Television.

Abdullahi was speaking on hardship in the poor masses are going through across the country.

“The kind of hardship Nigerians are faced with Today is unprecedented but more importantly is the denial of the reality of the majority of the people.

“Every single record has said Nigeria is not going in the right direction. And they keep telling us that the economy is doing very well.

“They keep saying don’t worry, even if you are hungry, just a little more, something will happen. And this is the third year into this administration.

“Year three and they are still campaigning and making promises as if they are not the one in power for the last three years.

“But more importantly is the lack of sensitivity. It is mind-bending. The lack of care about what the people are going through

“This president keeps traveling out of the country at will, especially when there is crisis. Former President Goodluck Jonathan didn’t abandon the country when faced with challenges. He didn’t run away. He didn’t go on holidays while things terrible things were happening in the country,” the ADC spokesman said.
