Bandits Kill 3, Abduct Scores along Gusau-Funtua Road

Gunmen suspected to be bandits with sophisticated weapons unleashed an attack on workers of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC, along the Gusau-Funtua road on Sunday.

The workers were heading to Abuja for an official assignment when the bandits attacked them.

The coordinator of the commission was abducted along with others and taken to the forest.

It was gathered that the driver of the commission and two other persons were killed during the operation.

The attack came a few hours after another set of bandits launched an attack on some vehicles along the Gusau-Funtua road and abducted some of the passengers.
