Famous Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) stated in a recent Instagram video that Bobrisky, a well-known Nigerian crossdresser, had been arrested by Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) personnel.

According to VDM, Bobrisky was caught at the Seme Border Post while attempting to leave Nigeria for the Benin Republic.

This arrest comes after Bobrisky’s name became embroiled in a dispute over accusations he made in a viral audio tape.

In the clip, Bobrisky reportedly boasted about avoiding prison time during a hearing and discussing how a N15 million money laundering case against him was withdrawn.

Bobrisky was called by the Nigerian House of Representatives in response to these charges, but he did not attend the session due to sickness.

VDM, who had earlier testified before the House of Representatives with lawyer Deji Adeyanju, said on the video that Bobrisky attempted to hide in a car while another person signed his international passport at the border.
