Brazilian Vice President Geraldo Alckmin, Wife Arrive Nigeria

The Brazilian delegation was received at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in the early hours of Tuesday.

Brazilian Vice President Geraldo Alckmin, his wife, Maria Lúcia Alckmin, and others have arrived in Nigeria ahead of the much-anticipated Second Session of the Nigeria-Brazil Strategic Dialogue Mechanism, SDM.

The Brazilian delegation was received at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in the early hours of Tuesday.

They were received by the Deputy Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Ibrahim Hadejia; Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole; two other ministers; and Nigerian government officials.

Senator Hadejia, who spoke at the airport reception, described the visit as “a pivotal moment,” especially considering President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
