Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has admitted that his club is at risk of failing to qualify for the UEFA Champions League knockout round this season.
Guardiola’s side is now ranked 22nd in the Champions League rankings.
So far this season, the Cityzens have won just two of their six Champions League matches.
At his pre-match press conference ahead of Manchester City’s Premier League home encounter with Everton, Guardiola cautioned that City might not move to the next stage if they don’t win games.
“Right now, we are at the risk of not qualifying for the Champions League… of course we are! Definitely we are,” Guardiola said.
“We have to get points and win games otherwise we will not qualify for the Champions League!”.
Manchester City’s next Champions League match is against Paris Saint-Germain in January.
