Don’t Allow Anyone’s Ambition Lead You to Hell Fire, Dele Momodu to politicians

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dele Momodu, has urged politicians not to allow anyone’s personal ambition to lead them to hellfire.

Momodu was reacting to remarks by the interim national chairman of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, David Mark, who told Senate President Godswill Akpabio to stop speaking for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, over the electronic transmission of election results.

Mark charged Akpabio and the Senate to pass the law and allow INEC to decide on the issue of electronic transmission of results.

Speaking in Abuja, the former Senate President said Nigerians want electronic transmission of results.

Reacting, Momodu posted on X: “Thank you sir, our ADC Chairman, Brigadier General David Mark (rtd.), for your brilliant intervention.

“My personal advice to our politicians is: Don’t allow anyone’s personal ambition lead you to hell fire. Promote transparent democratic tenets and ideals.”
