The operatives of the Department of State Security, DSS, and the Nigeria Police, on Monday, took over the Lagos State House of Assembly.

The operatives took over the assembly at Alausa, Ikeja to ensure adequate security.

Mojisola Meranda, the Speaker of the house reportedly arrived around 12 pm with her convoy.

Following her arrival, the House settled to plenary, as the lawmakers expressed confidence in her leadership.
