Edo Inauguration: Western Iyamu Congratulates Omorede Osifo on Appointment

The Diaspora Friends for Monday Okpebholo and Dennis Idahosa has congratulated its Co-Coordinator, Hon. Omorede Osifo on her appointment as a member of the Inauguration Planning Committee for Edo State Governor-Elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo’s inauguration ceremony as Governor of Edo State.

The APC diasporan support group played a significant role during the campaigns leading to the September 21, 2024 Edo governorship election which saw the emergence of Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress as governor.

Hon. Osifo was listed among the 40-member Inauguration Planning Committee inaugurated by Senator Okpebholo on Wednesday, in Benin City ahead of his inauguration as Executive Governor of Edo State on November 12.

In a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Friday, Amb. Western Iyamu, Coordinator of the diasporan group, lauded Hon. Osifo’s appointment.
