Ekiti guber poll: EFCC Arrests Party Agents Over Alleged Vote-Buying

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested party agents over alleged vote-buying during the ongoing Ekiti state governorship election.

According to a video making the rounds on social media, the party agents were arrested at a polling unit in Ola Oluwa Grammar School, Ado-Ekiti.

The suspects were said to have been caught with monies allegedly used to induce voters, an act the EFCC officials say were carried out surreptitiously.

The anti-graft agency operatives subsequently seized the bags and envelopes filled with money from the party agents.
