Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, on Sunday made history after his team defeated Arsenal 2-1 in the Premier League.

Guardiola watched as Erling Haaland’s second-half goal gave the Cityzens all three points against the Gunners at the Etihad Stadium.

According to OptaJoe, the result of the encounter means Guardiola has now won all four of his Premier League games against the league leaders with his Man City side starting the day second in the table.

This means that Guardiola now has the joint-most wins by a manager of second versus first in the competition’s history, alongside legendary Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson.
