FAAN Confirms Fire Incident at Lagos Airport Terminal

A fire broke out on Sunday at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.


The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, confirmed the incident, stating that its Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service was immediately deployed to the scene to tackle the blaze.


The agency said firefighters were working to bring the situation under control.
FAAN also disclosed that no casualties or fatalities had been recorded as of the time of reporting.


The authority added that further details would be provided as investigations and emergency response efforts continue.
