Sudan defeated the home-based Super Eagles 4-0 on Tuesday night, knocking them out of the current African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The team, coached by Eric Chelle, began their season with a 1-0 loss against reigning champions Senegal on Tuesday.

The Nigerian men had hoped to rebound and go to the tournament’s quarterfinals, but they were soundly defeated by Sudan.

Nigeria are at the bottom of Group D with zero point, and cannot make it past the group even if they are successful in their final match against Congo.
