I Stand with You, Tinubu Assures Plateau People Amid Killings

President Bola Tinubu has expressed solidarity with the people of Plateau State in response to recent attacks, emphasizing his support for the state’s residents.

In a statement that he personally signed, the President expressed sympathy with the families who were affected.

Tinubu said his visit to Jos is to express sympathy and show the government is still determined to deal with the insecurity problem.

“I will be in Jos to support the families who have lost their loved ones and to show that those who try to create fear will not succeed.

“We will continue to enhance our security response and ensure that justice is served,” he added.

He also talked about his next plans, saying that after Plateau, he would go to Lagos to take part in Good Friday activities before moving on with his official work in other states.

Tinubu said, “I will go from Plateau to Lagos to take part in Good Friday activities, and then move on with my planned meetings in Ogun, Lagos, and Bayelsa, which will focus on infrastructure, trade, and economic growth.”

The President talked about the importance of staying together during tough times and keeping up the work to develop the country.

“In times of sorrow, we must stand together. In moments of progress, we must keep building. The work continues. Nigeria First,” he stated.
