President Bola Tinubu has reiterated the commitment and determination of his administration to end terrorism and banditry in Northern Nigeria.

The President said no part of the country would be allowed to bleed while the Federal Government watches.

Tinubu made this statement on Saturday at the 25th anniversary of the Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, in Kaduna.

The President was represented at the event by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas.

Tinubu said he inherited a daunting security situation but remains committed to restoring safety.

The Nigerian leader further said that his administration would reverse the prolonged economic decline of the region.

He cited the anticipated rollout of crude oil from the Kolmani fields and other emerging prospects as opportunities for economic renewal.

“I won’t allow the Northern Nigeria to continue to bleed. I will tame the insecurity menace,” Tinubu said.
