Popular TikTok star Peller has broken his silence following his detention and arrest by the Lagos State Police Command for hazardous driving and an alleged suicide attempt.
In a video circulated on social media, the content creator expressed remorse over his actions and appealed to the public for forgiveness, saying, “I am sorry, Nigerians.
Please, I’m sorry. I will never do that again. I’m very sorry, please. For now, I am on medication. Once I am done with my medication, I will be online.”
The dispute stems from Peller’s recent breakup from his girlfriend, Jarvis.
Jarvis already announced the end of their relationship, citing Peller’s emotional management issues as a key reason.
Confirming the development, the Lagos State Police Command said Peller was arrested after his actions were deemed a deliberate attempt at self-harm and a serious threat to other road users.
Police accounts indicate that the incident happened on Sunday, December 14, 2025, when Peller was allegedly seen driving dangerously while livestreaming on social media, an act that reportedly resulted in a severe accident on the Lekki–Epe Expressway in Lagos.
Authorities further revealed that the matter has been handed over to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for a thorough probe, noting that Peller will be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of investigations.
Reacting to the incident, the Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, warned social media influencers and digital content creators against encouraging or showcasing reckless acts online, emphasizing that such behaviour will attract firm consequences.
