… Deputy Governor condole with State Government
The Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Muhammad Usman Zuru, is dead.
Zuru died in an Egyptian hospital where he was undergoing medical treatment on Monday night.
The late speaker, who was represented Zuru constituency, had been managing his health for some time.
While condoling the State Government over his death, the Deputy Governor of Kebbi, Sen. Umar Abubakar-Tafida, expressed shock and deep sorrow over the death of the Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Usman Muhammad-Zuru.
Tafida’s reaction was contained in a statement issued by his Press Secretary, Alhaji Murtala Gotomo, on Tuesday in Birnin Kebbi.
The deputy governor described the death of the Speaker as a huge loss not only to Kebbi State but to the nation at large, considering his commitment to public service and the development of the state.
