Olajide Adediran, better known as Jandor, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) 2023 governorship candidate, has revealed that President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi, is qualified to run for governor in 2027.

Jandor, on the other hand, claims that Seyi lacks experience because he has never appeared on the ballot.

He made the remark while speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, in answer to a query about his chances against Seyi, former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Tokunbo Abiru, and others.

He said: “Okay, so all the names that you have mentioned, just like I said earlier, they are all qualified to be governor of Lagos. This includes Seyi himself, every one of them.

“And you’re not going to take anything away from no one. But from all of them that you have mentioned, aside from the former governor that you mentioned, none of them have actually been on the ballot as governorship candidates aside from myself.

“So I come with that experience. I come with the experience of somebody who has single-handedly gone through that process without any backing.”
